Watership Down

Well not quite….

My wife and I have just returned from a short trip down to coastal Kent with the dogs and motorhome, we had a target to photograph the abundant population of rabbits there.

The journey there was uneventful even though the M20 was closed for operation stack and we arrived ready for coffee and lunch before going off and scouting the area giving the dogs a bit of exercise.
Rabbit 2
In the evening we settled down to a bit of rabbit photography with a number of very confiding individuals, sadly there was a lot of evidence of myxomatosis so the search was on for healthy subjects.
Rabbit 3
After a rather warm nights sleep we awoke to what must be one of the hottest July days ever, so everything was in hiding from the sun, including us, however evening came along with slightly cooler temperatures and out came the rabbits. After a few hours we sat down outside the motorhome with a drink and watched a hawker dragonfly hunting against the setting sun. What more could we have asked for on our final evening.

Almost there

Corrected a few typos today and added more images. Have still got to sort out some images of small woodland and garden birds and also more floral and fungi images.

A major update

A major update to the site today, apart from a new background colour which I hope makes it easier on the eye the galleries have received a makeover and they should be retina friendly. The whole site should be responsive for viewing on different devices such as iPads and iPhones.

More added

Working hard to get more images uploaded and have added a few more tonight. I still need to do some work on the organisation of the galleries and need to through my archives of Flora and small subjects, but slowly getting there.

Ongoing work

A few tweaks and new images added. Most important the upload problems have been resolved.
